Poker is a game of chance where you play against other players for a pot of chips. This is a fun game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and skill levels. It is a card game that can be played in casinos, at home and online, and it is one of the most popular games to play worldwide.

How to Play:

Before a hand begins, all players are required to make an ante (similar to a blind). The player to the left of the dealer position is usually required to place this small bet, called the “small blind.”

After the initial deal, each player takes turns betting and raising until one person has opened the betting round or all players have checked. When everyone checks, the players can choose to discard and draw up to three cards or hold pat.

When the last round of betting is complete, the cards are exposed and the player with the best five card poker hand wins the pot. This is the showdown.

The winning hand is determined by the number of cards that are revealed on each of the four betting rounds: flop, turn, river and showdown.

Royal Flush:

The highest hand is a royal flush, which consists of a 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace of the same suit, one kind (all clubs, diamonds, hearts or spades). A tie is not possible as it would have to be beaten by another straight.
